Julie has over 15 year’s experience working with Autistic individuals and related developmental differences in centers, schools, school districts and home-based programs. She was the Educational Director at BAC for the past 8 years before becoming the Executive Director in March 2021. Julie holds a Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts and received her Board Certification in 2009. She was a Clinical Supervisor at ACES (Center for Applied Behavior Analysis) in San Diego, California and Clinical Supervisor at the ELIJA School in Levittown, NY. Julie is also an adjunct professor at Long Island University CW Post campus where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Behavior Analysis and Autism. She has presented at national and international conferences on effective staff supervision and training, transition to adulthood, effective ABA intervention, family collaboration as well as diagnosis disclosure and advocacy.
