Behavior Intervention

At Brooklyn Autism Center, we complete thorough functional behavior assessments (FBA) to analyze interfering behaviors to determine variables that increase or decrease the likelihood of behavior occurring.  Results of FBAs are analyzed and shared with all team members.

Based on the FBAs, board certified behavior analysts develop intervention plans to reduce the likelihood of interfering behavior and develop programming to teach alternative behaviors.  

Data on interfering behaviors are monitored daily and intervention plans are updated, modified, or faded out based on data analysis and the input of all team members.
